Lalu Wovens was founded in 2015 by Teresa Aaron, a mother and designer who, after moving to Atlanta and having her first child, fell in love with babywearing. Her talented sewing and finishing team is also made up of local moms who handle the details of each wrap with the utmost care.
Our jacquard woven wraps are manufactured exclusively in the United States. We source materials from American yarn mills and seek out the most luxurious, natural fibers available. We work closely with a family-run textile mill to ensure exacting standards in the weaving process.
We believe that baby carriers should be both fashionable and functional. Lalu wraps marry chic, urban designs with the highest quality fibers that provide the special bond you only get through babywearing. We understand that as a mom, you don't always have time to get dressed up, but you can always feel beautiful in your Lalu.
Lalu is committed to giving back to the community. For every wrap purchased, we donate a portion of our proceeds to Lift Me Up, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing baby carriers to families who have children with special needs. Founded in 2014 by three moms, Lift Me Up is entirely volunteer-driven and made possible by donations. To learn more, please visit: babywearingtothrive.org.
